Treatment Plan

When you pick up your phone to make an appointment for therapy, you have taken the first step in dealing with your problems. Expect to talk with Dr. Kilbourne and develop an individualized and comprehensive treatment plan that helps you gain understanding, initiative, and personal success. Your plan may include therapy, mindfulness exercises, lifestyle changes, situational re-structuring, psychological testing, medication referral, and/or coordinated care with other service providers. You have a choice of individual, relationship, or family therapy:

Individual Therapy

In these one-on-one sessions, you discuss your present concerns and look at experiences that may have contributed to the problem. You'll learn problem-solving and coping skills you can use to work through your issues.

Relationship Therapy

You seek an intimate, loving relationship. Dr. Kilbourne helps you work toward that goal by teaching you skills that help you build a healthy relationship, manage conflict, and set life goals.

Child & Family Therapy

Like adults, children can experience challenges in their young lives. This may involve individual therapy sessions with the child or group sessions with members of the family. Depending on the situation, there may be a need for therapy, diagnostic assessment, or coordination with other professionals or organizations.
